Calculating the CGPA of CBSE Class 10 Result 2020.

Step 1: Add your grade points of the main five subjects

Step 2: Now, divide it by 5

For example, if your grade points for the five main subjects are: 9, 7, 8, 9 and 7, then

Step 1: Add the grade points: 9+7+8+9+7 = 40

Step 2: Divide it by 5; 40/5 = 8

Thus, your CGPA will be 8


Converting CGPA into the percentage

  • In order to convert overall CGPA into the percentage, multiply CGPA with 9.5

  • For example, When CGPA is 8, it should be multiplied by 9.5

  • Thus, 8 x 9.5 = 76%
