Parents file plea in the Supreme Court to cancel the remaining CBSE board exams.

June 10th 2020 NEW DELHI :

The parents of students have filed a plea in the Supreme court of India. They urged that the Supreme Court should cancel the remaining exams of the students as they fear of COVID transmission among their students.


It said that CBSE has cancelled the exams of the students of Class 10 and 12 students of the schools abroad. These students will be awarded as per the internal assessment or practicals.


But for indian students the exam would be conducted in around 15000 centers nationwide. Earlier the number of centers was around 3000. Though the government has directed to follow all safety measures, the parents are worried about their childrens' safety as it has come to light that almost 50 percent of COVID cases donot show any symptoms.
